Description

We’re seeking an experienced Machinery Operator to join our operations at Forestvale . This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an industry-leading agribusiness with a strong focus on teamwork, safety, and innovation.

About the Property

Forestvale/Holyrood, are run collaboratively with Rockybank, sharing herd and property management responsibilities.

About the Role

This role has a focus on machinery operations and is responsible for servicing and maintaining large broadacre machinery, and earthmoving equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Operation and basic maintenance of a wide variety of station plant and machinery, including graders, loaders, telehandlers and tractors.
- General earthmoving
- Planters and tillage
- Trucks
- Dozers

Skills and Experience

- Competent operation and maintenance of various station; machinery/equipment.
- General station and machinery maintenance experience.
- Relevant earthmoving experience, including operating a grader (tickets preferred);
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, including comprehending complex directions to various parts of the property
- Production animal experience, including livestock handling, health and welfare.
- Solid ability to problem solve.
- Strong ethic towards keeping machinery in a tidy and orderly fashion.
- Ability to observe general property needs, i.e. fencing, livestock health.
- Fencing,



stock water and general maintenance skills, including the ability to know and report that cattle are in their correct paddocks and herd.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely.
- Hold a current Class C driver’s licence. (Truck licence would be an advantage);
- A genuine passion for Agriculture
