Trident Services Australia is seeking a professional and licensed Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at Westfield Southland . This role offers a stable, set roster and the opportunity to play an important part in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and customer-focused retail environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering exceptional front-line customer service with a professional and approachable attitude.
- Responding promptly and professionally to medical emergencies, and other security situations.
- Conducting patrols and monitoring centre activity to identify safety risks
- Reporting hazards, incidents, and suspicious behaviour
- Supporting centre operations through crowd management and de-escalation
- Assisting with emergency procedures, alarms, and evacuation protocols
- Maintaining accurate incident reports and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
What you’ll need:
- Current VIC Private Security Individual Operator Licence (Security Guard)
- Current Crowd Controller and Monitoring endorsements
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work a set full-time roster (night shift)
- Excellent personal presentation and a professional approach
- A proactive mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
