What you'll do n

n
- Be the first point of contact for our customers by phone and email, answering questions on products, pricing, availability and delivery status
n
- Enter orders accurately and efficiently, and assist with online ordering
n
- Offer suitable stock alternatives and keep customers updated on back-orders
n
- Keep records and order history up to date
n
- Work across departments to find timely solutions
n
- Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer expectations
n
- Support new customers as they get started with ordering
n
- Take part in regular product training with our producers to build your product knowledge and stay across industry trends
n

You'll also have nn
- Proven customer service experience, ideally in food, logistics or hospitality
n
- A friendly, professional phone manner and clear written communication skills
n
- Confidence using Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
n
- Availability for a 7:00am start, Monday to Friday
n
- A genuine love of food
n
- Familiarity with systems such as Sage X3, X3CloudDocs and Pepper (highly regarded)
n
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles (an advantage)
n
