Hawthorn Vet is looking for our next Vet Nurse superstar to join our team.

What We’re Looking For n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
n
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on clinic experience
n
- Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills, including:n n
- Blood collection, IV catheter placement, intubation, anaesthetic monitoring
n
- In-house lab processing (bloods, urinalysis, cytology)
n
- Nurse consults (nail clips, anal glands, triage, first aid, history taking)
n

What We Offer Work-Life Balance n

- Weekdays: 8:00am – 6:30pm
n
- Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm (on a rotation)
n




- Closed Sundays & public holidays
n
- No after-hours (we refer emergencies)
n

- 3 vets and 6 nurses

- 2–3 vets and 4–5 nurses rostered daily

- Head Vet with 20 years’ experience
