Prime Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is looking for an experienced, energetic and proactive Medical Receptionist / Practice Administrator to join our Hamilton clinic.

n

We’re looking for someone who brings positive energy to the clinic — someone who naturally smiles, loves talking to people and makes patients feel genuinely welcome from the moment they walk through the door or call us.

n

You’ll also be highly organised, proactive and commercially aware — confident managing accounts, following up outstanding payments, keeping the diary productive and turning genuine enquiries into bookings through excellent communication.

What You’ll Do n

You’ll take ownership of:

Warmly greeting patients and creating an exceptional patient experience

n
- n

Answering calls with warmth, confidence and professionalism

n
- n

Managing current patient enquiries and helping convert enquiries into bookings

n
- n

Booking, confirming, rescheduling and rebooking appointments

n
- n

Proactively managing cancellations and diary gaps

n
- n

Processing payments and private health claims

n
- n

Managing accounts receivable and following up outstanding invoices

n
- n

Medicare, WorkCover, DVA and NDIS administration

n
- n

Liaising with insurers, case managers and healthcare providers

n
- n

Managing emails, referrals and patient documentation

n
- n

Encouraging patient feedback and reviews

n
- n

Assisting with patient communication and clinic marketing

n
- n

Supporting our physiotherapists and administration team

n

n





Accounts experience is particularly important. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of outstanding accounts and follows them through to resolution.

Who We’re Looking For n

Ideally, you’ll have:

n

n
- n

2–3+ years’ medical or allied health reception experience

n
- n

A naturally warm, engaging and enthusiastic personality

n
- n

A genuine love of interacting with patients and bringing positive energy to the workplace

n
- n

Outstanding telephone and face-to-face communication skills

n
- n

Strong accounts, billing and follow-up experience

n
- n

Experience with Cliniko or similar practice-management software

n
- n

Knowledge of Medicare, WorkCover, DVA, NDIS and/or private health

n
- n

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

n
- n

Confidence handling new patient enquiries

n
- n

Initiative, reliability and a strong work ethic

n
- n

A positive attitude and genuine team mentality

n
- n

The ability to take ownership and follow things through
