Patrick's Bakery is a busy bakery café in Regents Park. You'll run the floor during service, report directly to the owner, and run the shop when the owner isn't in. This is a hands‑on supervisor role leading a team of 10 to 12 people. Permanent full time, 38 hours a week with 5am starts, finishing by early afternoon. No nights. Weekend shifts paid at penalty rates.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the team from the front during service
- Own the coffee: dial in, hold the standard, train others, jump on in the rush
- Keep the cabinet full and looking sharp, ovens timed, nobody waiting
- Ordering, stocktake and keeping waste down
- Train and develop newer staff
- Open and close, including clean-down and next-day prep
- Handle customer issues calmly
- Keep food safety and cleaning to standard

About you





- Solid barista experience on a commercial machine
- Experience as a supervisor, team leader or 2IC in hospitality or retail
- Available for 5am starts and weekend work
- Reliable transport (public transport doesn't run early enough for a 5am start)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (bonus)
- Ordering and stock control experience (bonus)
- Experience with Square POS (bonus)
