Job Specification
Join a busy, well-supported community pharmacy with a strong focus on patient care and the expanding scope of pharmacy practice. Working alongside 2-3 Pharmacists per shift, experienced dispensary technicians and a large support team, you will have the resources to provide meaningful patient-focused care. The pharmacy has a dedicated consultation room and offers vaccinations, wound care, compounding and other professional services.
There is also scope to develop clinical interests in women's health, diabetes, weight management and mental health. A genuine interest in becoming a prescribing pharmacist is essential, with the potential to take a leadership role in developing and delivering prescribing services.
Skills Required
- General registration with AHPRA.
- 2 years experience as pharmacist in Australia.
- Strong patient counselling and customer engagement skills.
- Interest in pharmacist prescribing and expanded scope of practice.
- Confidence delivering vaccinations and skilled services.
- Empathetic, proactive and able to work independently or within a large team.
