We’re seeking a highly skilled Network & Cloud Technical Specialist to join a high-performing Enterprise team operating within a 24/7 NOC environment for an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with a possibility for extension.

n

This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and resilience of enterprise network services, supporting large-scale customer environments across cloud, data centre, and network infrastructure. You’ll work across incident management, proactive monitoring, optimisation, and customer engagement—directly influencing service outcomes for enterprise customers.

Requirements n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of incidents, problems, changes, and service requests
n
- Actively manage high-severity incidents (P1/P2) with urgency and precision
n
- Ensure SLA compliance and service continuity at all times
n
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent fixes
n

n

Proactive Monitoring & Optimisation

n

n
- Monitor and manage enterprise networks to identify and resolve issues before impact
n
- Optimise network performance, scalability, and resilience
n




- Perform security vulnerability patching and system upgrades
n

n

Technical Delivery

n

n
- Support service provider and data centre network infrastructure
n
- Deliver across:
n n
- Routing & Switching
n
- SD-WAN & Network Security
n
- Cloud & multi-cloud networking
n
- Compute, storage, and virtualization environments
n

Technical Environment

n

You will work across a diverse enterprise stack including:

n

n
- Networking: Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, Aruba, SD-WAN, Fortinet, Palo Alto
n
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, VMware
n
- Systems: Windows, Linux
n
- Storage & Backup: NetApp, Commvault
n
- Load Balancing: F5, Netscaler
n
- Monitoring/Tools: SolarWinds, Splunk, ServiceCentral, Magpie
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Australian Citizen with active NV1 clearance (or higher) – mandatory
n
- 5+ years in network/infrastructure engineering
n
- 3+ years in a customer-facing NOC / managed services environment
n
- Strong hands-on expertise across:
n n
- Routing, Switching, SD-WAN
n
- Network security
n
- Data centre and cloud infrastructure
n
n
- Experience within ITIL/ITSM frameworks
n
- Proven track record meeting SLA commitments
n
- Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift + on-call environment
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
