The Role n

We are seeking a Personal Care Worker who share our passion for person-centered care. It is essential that you understand the residential aged care workplace and the standards we uphold, and that you bring a high level of empathy and compassion to every interaction. Working Part-Time, you will support residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts in our 83-bed home, working closely with the Registered Nurses and reporting to the Manager.

What you will do The Personal Care Worker Is Responsible For Ensuring nn
- Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
n
- Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
n
- Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors and assisting residents attending activities.
n
- Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
n
- Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
n

Who are you and what will you bring? nn
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
n
- Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
n
- Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
n
- Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
n
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
n
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
n
