We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established Australian-owned consumer electronics and retail business on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for a full-time opportunity following the contract.

This is a hands-on role suited to a finance skilled with strong accounting experience and Pronto ERP knowledge who can hit the ground running and support the finance team through a period of system integration.
Responsibilities n

- Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
n
- Follow up and process supplier claims.
n
- Manage new vendor account approvals and ongoing maintenance.
n
- Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate stock variances.
n
- Investigate purchasing price variances and identify discrepancies.
n
- Investigate sales refunds and process payments.
n
- Complete cash sales reconciliations.
n
- Perform general ledger reconciliations.
n
- Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
n
- Assist with the integration and reconciliation of financial data across systems.
n
Requirements nn
- Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant.
n
- Pronto experience is essential.
n
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
n
- CA/CPA qualification is advantageous.
n
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
n
- Experience with an ERP system, with Pronto highly desirable.
n
- Experience using Xero, XPM and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and SUMIF.
n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Available to start immediately.
