We are passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests and are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help deliver the Headlands experience.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager/ 2IC to support the day-to-day operations of Headlands Hotel. Working closely with the Venue Licensee, you will play an important role in leading the front-of-house team, maintaining high operational standards and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a busy hospitality setting, leads by example and enjoys developing their team.

The position on offer is PERMANANT and the successful candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage operations, excellent leadership skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key responsibilities

- Assist Venue Licensee with the daily operation of the venue
- Supervise and train Hotel team
- Responsible for maintaining that welcoming feel to the establishment
- Management of inventory and ordering of Hotel stock
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations




- Ensure excellent and consistent customer service delivery which meets with the Hotels superior standards
- Communicate and implement policies and procedures to staff, to ensure operational and service standards are consistently maintained
- Manage and handle any complaints and conflicts
- Opening and closing of the Hotel

Skills and experience

- Strong proficiency in both foodand beverage management with minimum three (3) years' experience, is essential
- Current NSW RSA and RCG competencies
- Solid understanding of gaming and TAB facilities
- Maintaining a high standard of service, while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Ensure smooth running of hotel operations
- Supervision of staff and ensuring that high standards are adhered to at all times
- The right candidate must have excellent communication skills and a solid customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented, committed, trustworthy and responsible
- Must be flexible and available to work evenings/nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this
- An Australian National Police Check within the last 3 months.
