Job Description

Do you have experience in accounts receivable processing and are open to work in a temporary role?

- Managing an aged debtor ledger
- Following up outstanding invoices
- Investigating unpaid and rejected NDIS claims
- Reconciling payments and resolving remittance discrepancies
- Managing AR related queries and disputes
- Monitor and manage all incoming payments from customers
- Perform daily banking to ensure payment received allocated correctly
- Send statements and payment reminders to customers
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Follow up on overdue invoices and liaise with clients regarding payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and financial transactions
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Support audits and compliance requirements by providing necessary documentation

- Previous Accounts Receivable and collections experience
- Robust reconciliation and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to investigate payment discrepancies and outstanding debts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously

Basic Qualifications

- Certificate IV in bookkeeping or equivalent
- More than 5 years experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Hands‑on experience with Pronto Accounting System (essential or highly preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

About the role

- Manage a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio, including invoicing, collections and account reconciliations
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding accounts and resolve account disputes
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and proactively follow up overdue invoices
- Maintain accurate records and updates within the debtor management system
- Build strong relationships with customers, families and internal stakeholders
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reporting and support discussions to resolve outstanding issues
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of processes, tools and procedures

About you





- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar role
- Experience managing a high-volume debtor ledger
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a finance team
- A proactive approach to identifying and recommending process improvements
- Experience using ERP systems
- Experience with Salesforce, Lumary and GreenTree will be highly regarded
