About The Role n

Calvary Kooyong is a brand-recent facility located in Caulfield. The precinct co-locates Calvary Bethlehem Hospital, a residential aged care facility, Huntly Suites, and an independent living facility, Hyson Apartments.

n

Reporting to the Director Property and Shared Services at Kooyong precinct, located in Caulfield, we currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our team!

Your main duties will include: n

n
- Attend to duties that improve the day to day lives of our residents and employees and ensure a safe and clean living and working environment.
n
- Various tasks as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or relevant manager including preventative and reactive maintenance of site and equipment, inspections, liaising with consultants, gardening and landscaping.
n
- Ensure a resident centred approach.
n
- Ability to participate in on call after hours maintenance roster
n

About You nn
- Possess 2-3 years previous experience in a relevant trade industry.
n
- Some prior experience in an aged care environment, with a working understanding of relevant Aged Care Accreditation Standards, compliance requirements, and Quality Improvement processes.
n




- Good working knowledge of Fire and Emergency protocols, and regulations around essential services.
n
- Demonstrated experience in managing contractors, including JSA's/SWMS, SLA’s, work orders.
n
- A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
n
