The Role n
As a Surveyor at Monteath & Powys, you will be involved in a wide range of projects including land development, infrastructure, construction, and spatial data capture. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Conduct field surveys using GNSS and Total Stations
n
- Prepare and manage survey data, plans, and reports
n
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards,
and safety protocols
n
- Mentor staff where appropriate and contribute to team development
n
- Ability to work unsupervised at a range of interesting projects
n
About You nn
- Degree or diploma in Surveying or Spatial Science
n
- Demonstrated experience in multiple fields, Construction, Rail, Topo, Control
n
- Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., 12d, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center)
n
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Current driver’s licence and White Card
n
