About the role
We are seeking experienced Carpenters, Trade Assistants and Labourers to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent prospect for skilled tradespeople and enthusiastic labourers to work with a reputable building trades company serving the Henderson area and surrounding regions. Whether you are a qualified carpenter, a trade assistant looking to develop your skills, or a labourer ready to support our projects, we want to hear from you. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
For Carpenters:

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials accurately

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Ensure work sites are kept clean, tidy and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations

For Trade Assistants:

Provide support to qualified tradespeople during installation and construction tasks

Prepare materials and tools required for carpentry and maintenance work

Assist with site setup, cleanup and maintenance

Learn and develop trade skills under the guidance of experienced professionals

For Labourers:





Perform general labouring duties on construction and maintenance sites

Assist in moving, loading and unloading materials

Support tradespeople as required

Maintain a clean and secure work environment

Follow all health and safety procedures on site

What we're looking for
For Carpenters:

Proven experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry projects

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's licence and own transport

For Trade Assistants:

Relevant trade experience or training in carpentry or building trades

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks

Good communication skills and ability to take direction

Valid driver's licence and own transport

For Labourers:

Physical capability to perform labouring duties

Reliability and strong work ethic

Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Good teamwork and communication skills

Valid driver's licence and own transport

For All Positions:

Current working rights in Australia

Commitment to health and safety practices on site

Flexibility to work on various projects and locations within the Henderson area
