TranscenDental Chatswood is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy clinical variety, take pride in being organised and help patients feel comfortable and cared for, we would love to hear from you.
Our up-to-date practice is conveniently located close to Chatswood station, offering general dentistry, implant surgery and clear aligner treatments.
What we offer
$38–$42 per hour plus super, depending on experience and skills.
A permanent full-time position with a proposed 38-hour week.
Flexibility to negotiate working days and hours for the right candidate.
Close collaboration with the principal dentist and clinical team.
Exposure to implants, bone grafting, full-arch rehabilitation and digital dentistry.
Convenient access to trains, the Metro and buses.
About the role
Chairside assistance across general dentistry, implant surgery and clear aligner appointments.
Preparation of surgical instruments, equipment and materials.
Sterilisation, instrument tracking and infection control.
Caring support for patients before, during and after treatment.
Accurate records and effective appointment workflows using Dental4Windows.
Coordination of stock, laboratory work and treatment preparation.
Reception support and patient enquiries when required.
About you
At least three years of dental assisting experience.
Hands-on experience with implant procedures and clear aligner treatments.
Dental4Windows proficiency is preferred.
Organised, reliable and attentive to detail.
Able to anticipate the clinician’s needs and work confidently within your role.
Warm communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable.
Proposed roster
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:45 am–6:15 pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch.
Tuesday and Thursday: 8:45 am–3:30 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break.
These days and hours can be discussed and adjusted for the right candidate.
