Join STP Consultants as a Junior Draftsperson or Cadet Engineer and become part of our Early Careers Program, where you’ll earn while you learn. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on real projects, receive mentoring from experienced engineers and drafters, and complete your studies part-time while building practical skills that set you up for long-term success.

Career Pathways:

1. Junior Draftsperson: Full-time work plus part-time study in an Associate Degree of Engineering or TAFE drafting/design course
n
2. Cadet Engineer: Full-time work plus part-time study in a Bachelor of Engineering
n

What You Will Be Doing:

- Apply your learning directly to engineering and drafting projects that make a real difference

- Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals

Program Structure:

n

n
- Duration: 3–4 years (drafting/design), up to 8 years (engineering)
n
- Work schedule: 5 days a week (4 practical, 1 study)
n
- Study: Enrolled or eligible to enrol in a recognised tertiary course (enrolment not required prior to application)
n
- Semester breaks: Continue full-time in the office to stay connected
n
