An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial/Management Accountant to join a well-established financial services organisation on a 6-month contract.

n

Working as part of the Reporting team, this is a hands-on role that combines financial and management reporting, technical accounting, tax and analysis.

n

You will play an important role in delivering accurate and timely reporting while partnering with stakeholders across the business to investigate variances and provide meaningful financial insights.

n

This prospect would suit Senior Financial or Management Accountants; or experienced CA-qualified professional looking to make their first move from external Audit into industry.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Support month-end, half-year and year-end financial reporting processes
n
- Prepare and analyse management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
n
- Investigate discrepancies and partner with internal stakeholders to understand key movements
n
- Maintain financial ledgers and complete balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Assist with tax calculations,



analysis and preparation of monthly tax journals
n
- Support statutory reporting and year-end financial statements
n
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors as required
n
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across finance and reporting
n
- Assist with broader finance projects as required
n

About You nn
- CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent
n
- Experience within a listed or complex corporate environment will be highly regarded
n
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
n
- Experience within financial accounting, management reporting or external audit
n
- Strong analytical skills, particularly across variance analysis and financial statement analysis
n
- Exposure to tax calculations and reporting
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Exposure to cash flow, liquidity, dividends and share-based payments would be advantageous but is not essential.
