The Opportunity: n

We have an excellent chance for an analytical and detail- oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our collaborative and highly functional finance team. In this role, you will play a pivot al part in timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase order matching, general ledger reconciliations, controls review and testing, working collaboratively to maintain up-to date supplier ledgers.

Day to day you will: n

- Review and match pre-paid import invoices with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
n
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner
n
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
n
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers; respond to vendor inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and address any issues or concerns
n
- Assist in the review and testing of internal controls related to accounts payable processes
n
- Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to strengthen internal controls
n
- Generate and analyse accounts payable reports, including aging reports, and creditor related balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Assist with an accurate and timely completion of month-end tasks
n
- Maintain and update accounts payable finance systems, including software applications and databases
n




- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements
n

About You: nn
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Accounting or Finance
n
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable or related role
n
- Strong understanding of purchase order processing and matching.
n
- Advanced Excel skills with exposure to ERP systems
n
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and an ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
n
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritise a large volume of tasks in order to meet deadlines.
