Position Summary: n
n•Key focus of this role is to design, build, test and support iOS applications in an agile workplace. This role will work closely with squad members to ensure both front and back-end software outcomes meet customer expectations. The role will also involve mentoring more junior engineers in the development, use, and evaluation of the technical feasibility of holistic IT solution options. The incumbent identifies and recommends improvements and monitors external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies.n
Mandatory Skills: n
Technical n
n• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI (iOS) and/or Kotlinn
n• Solid understanding of GitHub workflowsn
n• Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)n
n• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSONn
n• Proficiency with testing frameworks (XCTest, JUnit)n
n• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practicesn
n• Basic experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesn




n• Comfortable with AI-assisted programming tools (Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot) and evolving workflowsn
n• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applicationsn
n• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issuesn
n• Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI testsn
n• Follow and contribute to coding standards, architecture patterns, and best practicesn
n• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering qualityn
n• Work with Tech Leads to design maintainable, robust, secure systemsn
n• Knowledge of best practices for accessibility on mobile platformn

n• Participate in the technical delivery of the squad (design → deploy → operate)n
n• Participate in all Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retros)n
n• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery (requirements → design → build → deploy)n
n• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend engineersn
n• Ensure applications meet functional, performance, and UX requirementsn
n• Contribute to team practices and continuous improvementn
n• Continuously improve technical skills, processes, and toolsn
n• Stay current with advancements in mobile engineeringn
Duties and Responsibilities: n




n• Analyse requirements and collaborate with Tech Leads, designers, and backend teams to define technical solutions.n
n• Design and implement features using Swift/SwiftUI following MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns.n
n• Integrate REST APIs, handle JSON data, and manage application state and error handling.n
n• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code aligned with coding standards and best practices.n
n• Develop and execute unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure application quality and stability.n
n• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during development, QA, or production.n
n• Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to maintain high quality.n
n• Use GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools to build, test, and release applications.n
n• Collaborate continuously within the agile squad and leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivity and delivery efficiency.n
