We're working with a growing Brisbane law firm looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to step into and lead an established practice.
No requirement to bring a client following
Instead, the firm is looking for someone who can take responsibility for an existing client base, build on strong referral relationships and identify opportunities to grow the practice from an already substantial platform.
The work is broad and includes:
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Commercial contracts
- Shareholder and structuring advice
- Corporate advisory work
- General commercial transactions
The opportunity will suit an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel who:
- Is technically strong and capable of running commercial matters autonomously
- Enjoys managing and developing junior lawyers
- Builds strong relationships with clients
- Is commercially minded and good at identifying opportunities
- Wants greater ownership of a practice and its future direction
This isn't about arriving with a book of clients. The prospect is to inherit a successful practice and make it your own .
