As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting sound decision-making across the business.

The Opportunity n

This is more than a traditional management accounting role.

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, can turn financial data into meaningful insights, and wants to work closely with stakeholders across a national manufacturing organisation.

n

You'll be involved in everything from month end reporting and analysis through to budgeting, forecasting, process improvement and business partnering. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial and operational activities, providing the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of how finance contributes to business performance.

What You'll Be Doing n

n
- Manage month-end processes, including journals, accruals,



prepayments, reconciliations and reporting.
n
- Prepare accurate and timely management reports, including analysis and commentary on business performance.
n
- Conduct financial and variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern.
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
n
- Partner with operational and business leaders to understand results and provide meaningful financial insights.
n
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial records.
n
- Support statutory reporting, audits, taxation and compliance requirements.
n
- Assist in improving financial processes, controls, reporting and business efficiencies.
n
- Provide analysis and support for business projects and initiatives.
n
- Contribute across the broader finance function as required.

What We're Looking For n

We're looking for a commercially minded accountant who is curious, proactive and enjoys working as part of the business, not just behind a spreadsheet.

You Will Ideally Have n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
n
- CA or CPA qualified, or working towards completion.
n




- 2-5 years' experience in a management accounting, financial accounting or similar commercial finance role.
n
- Strong experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.
n
- Experience preparing management reports and providing commentary on business performance.
n
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
n
- The ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
n
- A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
n
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial or operational environments will be highly regarded.
