Partner/Associate Partner - Business Services & Tax

An established Sydney CBD accounting firm is seeking a Partner or Associate Partner to take ownership of a newly acquired $1m client portfolio and play a key role in its continued growth.

This is an opportunity for an experienced public practice professional to step into a significant leadership position, lead an established client portfolio and team, and work closely with the existing Partners in a collaborative, client-focused firm.
The Opportunity

- Take ownership of an established $1m portfolio following the acquisition of an accounting practice.
- Lead and develop an existing team of accounting professionals, overseeing workflow, service delivery and portfolio performance.
- Manage a diverse client base spanning SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, family groups and international clients.
- Strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for advisory services and further portfolio growth.
- Work directly with the existing Partners, contributing to the strategic direction and ongoing success of the business.
- Take on a commercially focused role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

About You
You will be an established Partner, Associate Partner or senior public practice professional with the commercial acumen and leadership capability to manage a substantial portfolio and lead a team.
You'll bring:

- A strong track record managing and growing a business services portfolio.
- The ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with business owners and high-net-worth clients.
- Experience leading teams and maintaining high standards of client service.
- Commercial awareness across portfolio profitability, workflow and business development.
