The Arc House is a collection of boutique lifestyle hotels that connects travellers with the character of a destination through thoughtful design, local discovery and personal hospitality. We're seeking a General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operation of The Arc House Melbourne. Working closely with the Australian Director of Operations and management team, you'll combine commercial leadership with a visible presence in the hotel.

Key responsibilities

- Opening preparations, recruitment, training and operational readiness
- Daily hotel operations, service standards and guest experience
- Revenue strategy, budgets, forecasting and overall financial performance
- Team development, local partnerships and the hotel's reputation
- Safe, compliant operations and effective supplier relationships

About you

- Experience as an established General Manager, senior hotel leader or department manager ready for broader responsibility




- Experience across multiple departments and financial performance
- Ability to build a team and deliver consistent hospitality
- Experience with a hotel opening or major operational transition is required
- Boutique, lifestyle or upscale hotel experience is preferred
- Knowledge of the Melbourne market is an advantage
- Solid communication skills, fluent English and knowledge of Australian hotel operations are essential
