G.A.T.E.WAYS is seeking passionate educators to design and deliver engaging, curriculum-independent workshops in Science for high-potential gifted and talented primary school students across Brisbane.

Founded in 1994, G.A.T.E.WAYS offers enrichment programs that challenge and extend high-potential learners. Our programs provide opportunities for like-minded children to think deeply, collaborate, and explore advanced concepts in a stimulating and supportive workplace.

About the Program n

n
- Workshop Format: Two half-day workshops per day (one for lower primary, one for upper primary)
n
- Program Locations: Hosted at various metropolitan Brisbane schools
n
- Audience: Gifted and talented primary-aged students from a range of schools
n
- Focus: Depth, complexity, and creative learning beyond the standard school curriculum
n

About the Role nn
- Design two engaging, hands-on science workshops
n
- Deliver two engaging, hands-on workshops per program day
n
- Work with support from the G.A.T.E.WAYS team during workshop development
n
- Present at multiple school venues throughout each term
n
- Develop and provide your own workshop materials and teaching resources
n





What We're Looking For nn
- Passion for science education
n
- Experience teaching or working with primary-aged children
n
- A strong background in science
n
- Enthusiasm for educational creativity and independent workshop design
n
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage curious minds
n
- Understanding of the needs of gifted learners
n
- Fluency in spoken and written English
n
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or teacher registration
n
