Our client is a respected corporate/commercial practice with a growing property capability in a high-demand coastal market in South-East Queensland. Known for practical, commercially minded advice, our client works with a blend of private clients, investors, developers and business owners, prioritising quality outcomes over churn and unnecessary red tape.

About the Position: n

Our client is looking for a mid–senior Property Lawyer (5+ PAE) to take ownership of a steady stream of developer-led matters, commercial leasing and select conveyancing files. This is a role for someone who wants to run matters end-to-end, be trusted to manage priorities, and enjoy flexibility without sacrificing interesting work.

You’ll work across a mix including: n

- Developer acquisitions and disposals (due diligence, contract negotiation, settlements)
n
- Off-the-plan and standard conveyancing (residential and commercial)
n
- Commercial, retail and industrial leasing (new leases, renewals, assignments, variations)
n




- Drafting and negotiating special conditions and transaction documents
n
- Direct client management with repeat referrers and longstanding relationships
n
- Supporting junior staff as the practice grows (as needed)
n

Key Requirements: n

- 5+ years PAE in Queensland property law (mid–senior level)
n
- Proven experience acting on developer transactions and related advisory work

- Solid leasing skills (drafting and negotiations)
n
- Solid conveyancing capability and confident risk management
n
- Comfortable managing client relationships and deadlines independently
n
- Clear, commercial drafting and communication style
n
- Ability to guide junior staff and keep matters moving
n
