Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Provisioning
n Engineer to join our network operations team. In this role, you will take
n ownership of approved network designs and deliver them through to successful
n service activation on the live network.
You will ben
nresponsible for planning, configuring, testing, and commissioning servicesn
nacross fibre, transport, and IP networks while coordinating with multiplen
nstakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality, and error-free service delivery.n
nThe role requires strong technical hands-on expertise, excellent coordinationn
nskills, and the ability to work in a shift-based environment.n
n
• Take
n ownership of approved orders from the Design team and deliver them through to
n successful service activation within committed timeframes
n
• Plan
n provisioning activities, book change windows, prepare configuration scripts,
n and verify all pre-requisites before activation
n
• Configure,
n activate, and commission services on the live network in accordance with the
n approved design and change management processes
n
• Coordinate
n with Field Engineers, NOC, customer technical contacts, and third parties
n (e.g., carriers, NBN Co, vendors) to ensure end-to-end service delivery
n
• Perform
n thorough service testing and validation against acceptance criteria and obtain
n customer sign-off where required
n
• Diagnose
n and resolve issues encountered during provisioning; escalate to Design, Vendor
n Support, or senior engineers when necessary
n
• Execute
n rollback procedures cleanly when required and ensure the network is returned to
n a stable state
n
• Update
n inventory, provisioning records, and order management systems accurately upon
n completion of each task
n
• Produce
n handover documentation for Service Operations and ensure monitoring and
n alarming are correctly configured
n
• Provide
n post-activation support during the warranty/early-life period and assist with
n fault investigation
n
• Work
n shifts and after-hours change windows as required, following on-call and
n escalation procedures
n
• Identify
n recurring provisioning issues or process gaps and contribute to continuous
n improvement initiatives
n
• Comply with workplace Health, Safety, and
n Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at all times
n
• Actively
n contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to
n workflows and best practices

Requirements n
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications,
n Electronics, Computer Science,
or related engineering field (Diploma with
n solid relevant experience may be considered)
n
• Experience : 4–8 years of hands-on experience in network
n provisioning and service activation within a telecom or service provider
n environment
n
• Technical Skills:
n
o Hands-on
n configuration and provisioning of Juniper (MX), Cisco, and Nokia devices
n
o Strong
n experience with SecureCRT, WinSCP, and scripting for device configuration
n
o DWDM
n provisioning experience on Nokia PSS and Huawei platforms using NFM-P and NFM-T
n
o Working
n knowledge of Alcatel SDH (1660, 1662, 1642), Cisco WIP routers, Nokia
n NGTT/NGCE-AA, and Netconfig roles
n
o Experience
n with Microsoft Azure and AWS networking, including tunnel creation
n
o Operational
n knowledge of NBN Portal, One Manage, TEMIP, Voice Switches, and OSS systems
n
o Experience
n using Cisco Prime for NTU device scripting
n
