About the Role

n

As a Vehicle Wholesaler, you will be responsible for the acquisition, pricing, and disposal of used vehicle stock through dealer networks, auctions, trade channels, and wholesale buyers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring stock turns efficiently while maximising profitability and maintaining strong market relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and purchase quality used vehicles aligned with business requirements
n
- Manage wholesale disposal of aged, unsuitable, or excess stock
n

n n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, auction houses, buyers, and industry contacts
n
- Accurately assess vehicle market values, desirability, and reconditioning viability
n
- Negotiate purchase and sale transactions to maximise margin and stock turn
n

n n
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing movements, and buyer demand
n
- Work closely with retail sales, procurement, and operations teams to align inventory strategy
n




- Manage stock ageing and identify opportunities for rapid disposal
n
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, vehicle documentation, and transaction accuracy
n

About You

n

You are a commercially driven automotive qualified who understands how the wholesale market works and can make quick, confident decisions.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

- Proven experience in vehicle wholesale, used car buying, automotive remarketing, or dealership stock management
n
- Strong knowledge of current used vehicle market trends and valuations
n
- Established industry relationships and buyer networks (highly regarded)
n
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
n
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profit and stock efficiency
n
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team
n
- High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
n
- A current driver’s licence
n
