People, Payroll & Compliance Coordinator - HR n

Our client is a well-established Australian wholesale bakery business based in South-Western Sydney , with a strong presence in its industry and a growing focus on people, compliance and operational excellence.

They are seeking an experienced HR, Payroll & Compliance Coordinator to take ownership of key people, payroll, compliance and Return to Work functions across the business.

About the Role n

This is a hands-on position covering a broad range of HR and payroll responsibilities, including:

n

- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee records
n
- Prepare employment contracts, HR documentation and workplace policies
n
- Provide HR support to managers and employees, including performance and employee relations matters
n
- Coordinate and process payroll, including leave, variations, terminations and superannuation
n
- Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards and relevant employment legislation
n
- Monitor legislative requirements and maintain HR and compliance documentation
n
- Coordinate workers compensation and Return to Work matters , including liaising with insurers and rehabilitation providers
n
- Develop and monitor Return to Work Plans and suitable duties
n
- Support WHS,



employee wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives
n

About You n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- A degree or diploma in HR, Business or a related field
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HR
n
- Proven payroll processing experience , ideally 2+ years
n
- Solid experience interpreting Modern Awards and employment legislation
n
- Experience developing workplace policies and procedures
n
- Experience coordinating workers compensation and Return to Work matters
n
- Current Return to Work Coordinator Certificate , or the ability to obtain one immediately
n
- Strong knowledge of:
n
- - National Employment Standards
n
- - Modern Awards & WHS legislation
n
- - Privacy and payroll legislation
n
- - Employment contracts and HR best practice
n

n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently
n
