This is a casual position working approximately 2 days per week, generally weekdays. The successful applicant will provide high-quality housekeeping and domestic support within our Sisters' residences.
Key responsibilities n
n
- General cleaning and housekeeping
n
- Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas
n
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and other routine cleaning
n
- Laundry and changing bed linen
n
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
n
- Delivery and service of meals
n
- Other reasonable housekeeping duties as required
n
About you nn
- Have previous experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning or a similar role
n
- Are reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in their work
n
- Have a high level of attention to detail
n
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
n
- Have a respectful understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the lifestyle and practices of women in religious life
n
- Are comfortable working within a religious community and understand the importance of privacy, discretion and respect
n
- Have a warm, compassionate and respectful approach when working with older members of the community
n
- Have good communication skills and a professional manner
n
- Have a drivers licence and a clean driving record
