We're partnering with a well established, successful business seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract.n
nThis is a hands-on role supporting payroll operations across both Australia and New Zealand, working closely with outsourced providers to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant processing.n
The Role n
nYou'll take ownership of the day-to-day payroll coordination, acting as the key link between the business and external providers.n
nYour responsibilities will include:n

- Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to employee queries in a timely and qualified manner
n
- Managing payroll changes and preparing accurate instructions for outsourced providers
n
- Liaising with the outsource providers to ensure seamless payroll processing
n
- Coordinating fortnightly and monthly pay runs across Australia and New Zealand
n
- Reviewing draft payroll reports to ensure all changes have been captured correctly
n
- Identifying,
quantifying, and escalating exceptions prior to final review by the Payroll Lead
n
- Supporting compliance across AU & NZ payroll legislation
n

About You n

- Proven payroll experience across Australia
n
- Comfortable working with outsourced payroll providers
n
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
n
- Confident reviewing reports and identifying discrepancies
n
- Clear communicator who can manage employee queries with professionalism
n
- Able to manage multiple pay cycles and deadlines
n
