We're partnering with a growing, multi-brand organisation that's looking to appoint a Business Systems & AI Lead to take ownership of how its technology, systems, processes, data and automation work together.

As the business continues to scale, there's a genuine opportunity to rethink how things operate, improve connectivity between platforms and introduce practical automation and AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

n

This is a newly created position, reporting directly to the CEO, with the opportunity to shape and establish the organisation's business systems and AI capability.

n

Importantly, this isn't a traditional IT management role, nor is it purely strategic.

n

We're looking for someone who can understand the bigger picture, identify opportunities, design solutions and then get hands-on with implementation.

What You'll Be Doing n

n
- Take ownership of the organisation's business systems, automation and AI roadmap.
n
- Assess the existing technology landscape, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Improve integrations and data flows between core business platforms.
n
- Identify, design and implement automation solutions that eliminate manual processes and duplicated effort.
n
- Explore and implement practical AI applications across internal workflows, operations and customer experiences.
n
- Work closely with business leaders to understand challenges and translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
n
- Evaluate new platforms, technologies and tools based on scalability, commercial value and business requirements.
n




- Establish appropriate governance around systems, data, automation and AI.
n
- Partner with external technology providers and internal stakeholders to deliver improvements.
n
- Help build a more connected, efficient and scalable technology environment to support future growth.
n

Ideally, you'll bring: nn
- Experience across business systems, systems architecture, digital transformation, automation or business technology.
n
- Strong understanding of systems integrations, APIs, workflows and data flows.
n
- Hands-on experience implementing, integrating or optimising business platforms.
n
- Practical exposure to AI and automation, with an understanding of where these technologies can deliver genuine value.
n
- The ability to understand business processes, challenge existing approaches and design better ways of working.
n
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
n
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to prioritise initiatives based on business impact.
n
- Confidence working autonomously and taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.
n
