We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team in Canberra on a casual basis. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring a supportive workplace for both patients and their families. Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.

- Support nursing staff in administering medications and treatments as directed.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
n
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
n
- Assist in the mobilisation and transfer of patients as required.
n
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare or nursing environment.
n
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or equivalent qualification.
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
n
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
n
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
