We are a well-established garden maintenance business based in Park Orchards, specialising in the care of high-quality residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Gardening Assistant to join our team and work alongside our Head Gardener.

This role suits someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining gardens to a high standard .

This is a casual position with a minimum of three days per week , working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (no weekend work) . Our work is located within a 15km radius of Park Orchards , servicing a range of well-maintained residential and commercial properties.

About the Role n





You will assist with maintaining and presenting a variety of gardens and landscapes to a high standard. Duties include:

- Brush cutting and line trimming
n
- Push mowing and lawn maintenance
n
- Hedge trimming and shaping
n
- Pruning of shrubs and small trees
n
- Weeding and garden detailing
n
- Leaf blowing and site clean-up
n
- Assisting with general garden maintenance tasks as required
n

This is a physically active outdoor role that involves working in varying weather conditions. Applicants must be comfortable performing manual work and maintaining a steady, productive pace throughout the day.

Skills and Experience n

To be successful in this role, applicants should have:

n

n
- Minimum 12 months experience in garden maintenance or landscaping
n
- Competence using garden power tools and hand tools (mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.)
n
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual outdoor work
n
- Solid reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work well within a small professional team
n
- Working With Children Check and Police Check , or willingness to obtain these
n
- Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of Park Orchards to ensure reliable 7:00am starts
n
