Building Certifier / Surveyor - Level 1, 2, or 3

The Role

n

Whether you are establishing your career or bring decades of unrestricted expertise, we have a position tailored to your accreditation tier:

Level 3 (Residential): Manage plan assessments, issue approvals, and conduct site inspections for Class 1 and 10 residential projects. Ideal for certifiers building a strong technical foundation.

n
- n

Level 2 (Medium Development): Drive compliance and inspections for medium-density residential and commercial projects (Class 2 to 9 developments up to statutory limits).

n
- n

Level 1 (Unrestricted): Take total ownership of high‑rise, complex commercial, industrial, and large‑scale residential developments with full assessment authority.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- n

Assess building applications, plans, and technical specifications against the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant legislation.

n
- n

Conduct statutory site inspections to verify structural, fire safety, and accessibility compliance.

n
- n

Issue regulatory approvals,



building permits, and occupancy documentation efficiently.

n
- n

Provide clear, pragmatic advisory services to architects, engineers, builders, and developers.

n
- n

Maintain accurate records and project documentation within our national digital platform.

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- n

Current accreditation/registration as a Building Certifier or Building Surveyor (Level 1, 2, or 3).

n
- n

A diploma, degree, or tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or Construction Management.

n
- n

Strong working knowledge of the NCC, relevant state building acts, and local planning framework.

n
- n

Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.

n
- n

Valid driver's license.

n
