Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance, and partnering with operations teams and the larger business.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded industrial organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. With a strong national presence and a collaborative finance team, this role offers the opportunity to partner closely with operational stakeholders while gaining exposure to a large, structured business environment.

Description n

- Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting
n
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting
n
- Partner with operational managers to analyse business performance
n
- Prepare financial reports and provide commercial insights
n
- Review and maintain general ledger integrity
n
- Respond to day-to-day finance queries from operational stakeholders
n




- Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities
n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes where appropriate
n

Profile n

A successful Management Accountant should have:

n

n
- Previous experience in a similar role within industrial workplace
n
- Strong month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large data sets
n
- Experience operating within a medium-to-large organisation
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent advantageous)
n
- Exposure to ERP systems, ideally within a complex operating environment
n
