We’re seeking a dedicated, detail-focused Paralegal to join our firm and provide support across a variety of legal matters.
n
This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of legal practice, taking responsibility for their work and being part of a supportive, close-knit team. While experience in residential or commercial conveyancing is preferred, it is not essential , as training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities n
Opening files and completing data entry
n
Maintaining accurate records and monitoring critical dates and deadlines
n
Conducting searches and assisting with preparation of legal documentation
n
Assisting lawyers with a variety of legal matters
n
Using electronic legal platforms and systems, including Supreme Court Online Services Portal, PEXA, QRO and Titles Queensland where required
n
Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and firm procedures
n
Providing general paralegal and administrative support as required
What We’re Looking For n
Previous paralegal or legal support experience preferred
n
Experience in conveyancing is preferred but not essential
n
Excellent communication, organisational and attention-to-detail skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
n
Strong computer and administrative skills
n
Experience with LEAP Legal Software is an advantage, but not essential
n
A proactive, reliable and professional approach to your work
n
Willingness to learn and develop across different areas of legal practice
