The Role n

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our day shift team.

n

This role involves replenishing and organising stock within the cool-room workplace, ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO), maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

n

Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality are critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Replenish and organise warehouse and cool-room stock accurately
n
- Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness and quality
n
- Maintain a clean, organised,



and safe working environment
n
- Assist with unloading, moving, and stacking stock
n
- Monitor product quality and report any issues or shortages
n
- Operate a forklift where required (if licensed)
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures
n
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
n

About You nn
- Demonstrated experience or sound understanding of handling fresh fruit and vegetables is highly regarded
n
- Forklift licence (LF) is desirable, but not essential
n
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on product quality
n
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit able to lift up to 20kg without any issues
n
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment
n
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Previous experience in a warehouse or wholesale environment is an advantage
n
