Position Summary: n
n•Must have hands on experience in Guidewire (any suite), Java, Webservicesn
n•Must have experience in writing Gunits/Junits and increasing the code coveragen
n•Must have experience in practicing Business Driven Development techniquen
n•Analyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutionsn
n•Participates in business workshops and provides solutions on technical changesn
n•Estimates the work effort and review the effort from other developers in the teamn
n•Work with Customer side Technical Lead and Architect for technical guidancen
n•Prepare the technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes. Share technical inputs on the dependencies with other integration work streamsn
n•Completes design, develops code, unit tests code, documents and deploys code into the appropriate environmentn
n•Establish best practices, and guidelines for development. Ensure team adheres to the best practicesn
n•Mentor and help other technical developers in the teamn
n•Co-ordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teamsn
n•Participate and provide technical inputs/guidance in defect triage meetingsn




n•Help BA's and Testers with the technical demo sessions presented to businessn
n•Create knowledge base documents and hand over the changes to production support team.n
Mandatory Skills: n
n•IT Guidewire experience of 5 to 7 Yearsn
n•Strong Guidewire Applications Development / Management experiencen
n•Strong knowledge on Insurance P&C; domainn
n•Guidewire certifiedn
Duties and Responsibilities: n
n•Study the business requirements provided in the functional specification documents or other requirements artefacts and identify the optimal solution for implementation.n
n•Analyse the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using out-of-the-box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutions.n
n•Estimate the integration development effort and also conduct a peer review on the integration estimates from other team members.n
n•Prepare the technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes.n
n•Build, unit test the integration changes.n
n•Participate and provide technical inputs / guidance in defect triage meetings.n
n•Co-ordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teams.n
n•Document the high level and low-level design documents.n
n•Share technical inputs on the dependencies with other integration work streams.n
n•Participate in Quality Audits and maintain Traceability Matrix, Defect Prevention log and other artefacts.n
Qualifications & Certifications: n
n•Minimum B.E or B.Tech or MCAn
nSalary Range:>$100,000n
