About the Role n
We are seeking reliable, resilient, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
n
This role involves supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community settings.
Availability Requirements (Essential) n
To be considered, you MUST be able to:
n
n
- Work a rotating roster (including weekends)
n
- Complete sleepover shifts (essential requirement)
n
- Be available for a mix of: n n
- Day shifts
n
- Afternoon/evening shifts
n
- Sleepovers
n
n
n
This is a non-negotiable requirement due to participant support needs.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Provide personal care and daily living support
n
- Support participants with challenging behaviours
n
- Assist with community access and transport
n
- Administer and document medication
n
- Follow behaviour support plans and care plans
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
n
- Promote independence, choice, and control
n
What We’re Looking For Essential: nn
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
n
- Experience working with challenging behaviours
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current Working with Children Check
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- Solid communication and documentation skills
n
- Medication competency
n
Highly Desirable: nn
- Experience in SIL environments
n
- Mental health support experience
n
- Experience working with challenging behaviours
n
- Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
n
