The Position…

With the recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team in their engineering facility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in the mechanical industry, with a diversity of projects and skills.

n Key responsibilities include:n
n

n
n
- Preparation and assembly of manufactured components

n
n
- Assembly of service modules and water carts

n
n
- Installation and securing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

n
n
- Manufacturing or modifying components

n
n
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment

n
n
- Reading and interpreting drawings or specifications

n
n
- Maintaining and adhering to health and safety in the workplace

n
n
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment

n
n

n




nThe normal business hours of operation are as follows: n
n6am to 5pm Monday to Thursday;n
n6am to 3pm Friday to Saturday.n
n Your hours of work would include: n
n

n
n
- Normal hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday

n
n
- Normal hours - 6 hours Friday

n
n
- Overtime when required

n

The Ideal Candidate…

n

The ideal candidate will have the following:

n
n

n
n
- Trade certificate relevant to your trade (Cert III or higher)

n
n
- Valid Australian C Class driver's licence (HR highly desirable, but not essential)

n
n
- Full Australian working rights

n
n
- Current High-Risk License – Forklift (preferred, but not essential)

n
n
- Previous experience of road trucks and LV’s

n
n
- National police clearance (or willing to obtain)

n
n
- Intermediate computer skills (preferred, but not essential)

n
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality

n
n
- Motivated, hard-working and a positive attitude

n
