nCarry out inspection, servicing, maintenance and repairs of diesel-powered machinery, plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures. n
nDiagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment, testing procedures and technical manuals, and determine appropriate repair requirements. n
nDismantle, inspect, repair, replace and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, braking systems, cooling systems, fuel systems and other mechanical components. n
nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance, including oil and filter changes, lubrication, adjustments, component inspections and replacement of worn or defective parts. n
nConduct mechanical testing and operational checks following repairs to ensure machinery is safe, reliable and operating to required specifications. n
nCarry out in-house service and repair work and machine fit-up/commissioning, including modifications and installation of mechanical components to meet customer requirements. n
nUse a range of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery safely and correctly. n
nIdentify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical-related faults associated with diesel-powered machinery,

nRead and interpret manufacturer service manuals, technical specifications, drawings and maintenance documentation when carrying out repairs and servicing. n
nWork independently and as part of a team to complete repair, maintenance and machine fit-up projects safely, efficiently and within required timeframes. n
nMaintain accurate service records, repair reports and parts information and report identified defects or additional repair requirements. n
nComply with WHS requirements, protected work procedures and manufacturer specifications at all times. n
nJob Types: Full-time, (38Hours/week) n
nSalary-$80,000 to 98,000 per year (plus super) n
nAQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) n
