Golden Shore Products Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the business, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, invoicing, financial reporting and payroll administration.
Key responsibilities n
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
n
Prepare and process customer invoices, purchase orders, quotes and related financial documentation.
n
Manage accounts receivable, including recording, allocating and reconciling customer payments.
n
Process accounts payable transactions and reconcile supplier accounts.
n
Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, including QuickBooks.
n
Monitor and reconcile inventory records, stock movements and inventory balances.
n
Assist with stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies and variances.
n
Assist with the preparation of financial and management reports.
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, costing and pricing analysis.
Skills and Experience Required n
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
n
Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting experience.
n
Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
n
Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record keeping.
n
Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB.
n
Experience with inventory accounting and reconciliation.
n
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to handle confidential financial and commercial information.

Salary of $75,000 – $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
