Henny’s Deli is a brand-new neighbourhood café and deli opening at 618 Darling Street, Rozelle.

We want Henny’s to become a local favourite — somewhere people can grab a great coffee, fresh food and a seriously good sandwich.

We're now looking for a Sandwich Hand / Food Prep team member to join us from the beginning.

About the role n

This is a hands-on role focused on preparing fresh sandwiches and ingredients while keeping our food preparation area organised, stocked and ready for service.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Preparing fresh sandwiches and deli items
n
- Preparing ingredients for daily service
n
- Portioning, slicing and assembling ingredients
n
- Following recipes and presentation standards
n
- Maintaining consistency and quality
n
- Restocking ingredients throughout service
n
- Rotating and storing food correctly
n
- Keeping preparation areas clean and organised
n
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
n
- Assisting the kitchen team when required
n
- Helping with opening, closing and cleaning duties
n

About you n

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous café, deli, sandwich or food-preparation experience
n
- Works quickly and neatly
n
- Has excellent attention to detail
n
- Takes pride in food presentation
n
- Understands the importance of cleanliness and food safety
n
- Can follow recipes and portioning standards
n
- Is reliable and punctual
n
- Has a positive attitude
n
- Enjoys working as part of a team
n
- Can handle a rapid-paced lunch service
n

Experience is important, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter just as much.

Pay: $26.44 – $38.78 per hour

n

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
