Key responsibilities n

- Reviewing architectural plans, engineering drawings and project scopes
n
- Preparing detailed roofing estimates and quotations
n
- Completing material take-offs and calculating labour requirements
n
- Obtaining and comparing supplier pricing
n
- Liaising with builders, clients and suppliers
n
- Identifying project requirements, variations and potential issues
n
- Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive and commercially viable
n
- Working closely with our operations and management team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to construction
n
- Maintaining accurate estimating and project records
n
- Ordering materials
n

About you nn
- Has experience estimating within the roofing or construction industry
n
- Has a strong understanding of roofing materials, systems and installation methods
n
- Can confidently read and interpret construction plans
n
- Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail
n




- Can work independently and manage multiple quotes and deadlines
n
- Has strong communication and negotiation skills
n
- Is confident using computers and estimating software
n
- Understands the importance of accurate quantities, pricing and margins
n
- Takes pride in producing quality work
n
- Has a practical, solutions-focused approach
n
