We are seeking to appoint a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team.

About the role:

Ensure daily factory operations run smoothly through efficient machine servicing and repairs.
n
Support optimum production capacity and productivity while maintaining safety and efficiency
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Maintenance Planning:
n
Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
n
Prioritise and track tasks, ensuring on-time completion
n
Supervise contractors to ensure alignment with schedules and quality standards.
n
Safety & Quality:
n
Promote safety consciousness and maintain a healthy working setting.
n
Adhere to occupational health and safety policies to maintain zero tolerance of harm
n
Operational Support:
n
Provide technical and service assistance to the team.
n
Ensure effective communication with management on maintenance status and schedules.
n
Oversee training for maintenance fitters and apprentices.
n
Identify and implement improvements to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
n
Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications.
n
Strong communication, coordination, and decision‑making abilities.
n
Experience in maintenance, safety standards, and production systems.
n
Ability to plan ahead with a focus on preventative maintenance.
