About the Company n

Our client is an established operational business with a strong workforce across Queensland. Their Townsville office is a close knit team supporting approximately 100 field based employees and is looking for an experienced Scheduler to join the team.

About the Role n

Following an internal promotion, this is an opportunity to step into an established scheduling position with training and support provided.
n You will be responsible for coordinating daily schedules, allocating employees and resources, managing changing priorities and ensuring jobs are appropriately resourced. This is a fast paced role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, working with people and keeping operations running smoothly.
n Key responsibilities include:

- Managing incoming job bookings and accurately entering scheduling requirements

n
- Coordinating schedules and allocating employees based on availability, skills and requirements

n
- Coordinating vehicles, equipment and other operational resources

n
- Managing changes, cancellations, replacements and urgent scheduling requirements

n
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling matters

n
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring relevant compliance requirements are considered

n
- Supporting field based employees and providing clear, proactive communication

n
- Monitoring workload and shift coverage to support efficient operations




n About You We are looking for someone with a solid background in scheduling, rostering or workforce coordination who is comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a busy operational environment.
n You will ideally have:

n
- Previous experience in scheduling, rostering or workforce coordination

n
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

n
- The ability to manage competing priorities and respond quickly to changes

n
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders

n
- A proactive, solutions focused approach

n
- Strong administration and systems skills

n
- Experience in traffic control, traffic management, logistics, transport, construction or another field based operational environment is advantageous

n
- Experience using Traffio is highly regarded but not essential

n
- A current Driver Licence
