Our client, a leading ASX-listed resources company, is seeking an experienced BI & Data Platform Analyst to join their growing data and analytics team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Lead – Data Analytics, you'll play a key role in maintaining and evolving the organisation's data warehouse, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions — ensuring data is reliable, secure, and readily available to support a data-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

n
n

n
n
- Design, build, and support ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from APIs, databases, flat files, and other sources
n
n
- Develop logical and physical data models in Snowflake across landing, transformation, curated, and consumption layers
n
n
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, datasets, and reports
n
n
- Investigate and resolve data issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks
n
n
- Contribute to DevOps/CI-CD practices for data pipelines and reporting deployments
n
n
- Apply data quality, security, and governance controls across all layers
n
n
- Maintain data architecture documentation and support incident/service requests
n
n

What You'll Bring

n
n

n




- A degree in a computer science-related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
n
n
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar
n
n
- Solid hands-on Snowflake experience — SQL development, data modelling, RBAC, and performance tuning
n
n
- Solid skills in SQL and Python for data transformation
n
n
- Experience building Power BI datasets and reports
n
n
- Exposure to REST API integrations and enterprise data sources
n
n
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and source control practices
n
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
n
n
