Milo Plumbing Solutions is seeking a dedicated 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentice to join our team in South Windsor, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to progress through the final stages of your plumbing apprenticeship whilst gaining practical, hands-on experience with a reputable local plumbing company. In this role, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, developing your technical skills and preparing yourself for qualification as a fully licensed tradesperson. This position is integral to our operations, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our service delivery whilst continuing your structured learning pathway towards becoming a competent and professional plumber.

What you'll be doing n

Assisting experienced plumbers on residential, commercial and maintenance plumbing projects across Sydney.

Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings and water heating systems

n

Using hand and power tools safely and effectively to carry out plumbing work to industry standards

n

Reading and interpreting plumbing plans and technical drawings to understand project specifications

n

Testing and commissioning plumbing systems to ensure they meet building codes and regulatory requirements

n

Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used on each job

n

Practising safe working practices on all job sites, adhering to work health and safety procedures

n

Continuing structured learning as part of your apprenticeship,



including block release training and on-the-job assessment

n

Supporting senior plumbers with site preparation, tool management and general site tidiness

n

Communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues encountered

What we're looking for n

Current enrolment or status in a 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprenticeship with a registered training organisation

n

Sound knowledge of plumbing principles, practices and relevant Australian building standards and codes

n

Demonstrated proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and plumbing equipment safely and correctly

n

Solid understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to plumbing work and construction sites

n

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications accurately

n

Good problem-solving skills and ability to think through practical challenges

n

Reliable, punctual and committed to completing tasks to a high standard

n

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

n

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

n

Physical fitness and capability to perform plumbing work, which may involve lifting,



climbing and working in confined spaces

n

Valid driver's licence is preferred, as you may be required to travel between job sites
