Milestone IT is partnering with a leading Australian retail and distribution organisation to appoint a Head of SAP Supply Chain Technology.

This is a senior technology leadership opportunity for an experienced SAP professional who can bridge the gap between business strategy, supply chain operations and technology delivery. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's SAP supply chain technology landscape while leading a high-performing team and managing strategic technology partners.

About the Role n

Reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain IT, you will be responsible for the technology relationship with the Supply Chain function, partnering closely with senior business leaders across areas including:

- Logistics and Distribution Centre Operations

- Direct Procurement
n
- Demand and Supply Planning

- Supply Chain Transformation

- IT and Enterprise Technology
n

You will lead the SAP Supply Chain technology function, ensuring technology investments and initiatives are aligned with business strategy while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and enhanced supply chain capability.

n

The role will also act as a key interface between the business and the organisation's outsourced Application Support and Maintenance partner.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Own and develop strong strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain and the broader business.
n
- Lead the delivery of SAP Supply Chain technology capabilities, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Provide leadership across SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM and associated SAP SaaS platforms,



includingSAP Ariba and SAP IBP.
n
- Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions and ensure proposed designs align with enterprise and Supply Chain strategies.
n
- Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop business cases and prepare the organisation for major SAP initiatives and transformation programs.
n
- Support project governance, stakeholder engagement, change readiness and successful adoption of recent technology.
n
- Contribute to the evolution of the organisation's enterprise data and reporting capabilities, including integration of EWM data throughMicrosoft Azure and Snowflake, with visualisation throughPower BI.
n
- Build strong partnerships across IT, ensuring a collaborative and integrated approach to technology delivery.
n
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, high performance and innovation across Supply Chain Technology.
n
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve Distribution Centre efficiency, reduce costs and enhance operational performance.
n
- Establish and monitor KPIs, service performance and delivery outcomes.
n
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of SAP Supply Chain professionals, consultants and technology partners.
n
- Manage key technology vendors and outsourced support relationships.
n
- Ensure technology services are delivered efficiently, reliably and in line with business expectations.

About You n





You will be a senior SAP and technology leader with strong experience operating at the intersection ofSAP, Supply Chain and business transformation.

n

To be successful, you will bring:

n

n
- Proven experience leading SAP technology within a complex enterprise environment.
n
- At least one end-to-end SAP implementation and/or significant SAP BAU experience, ideally withSAP S/4HANA.
n
- Strong experience withSAP EWM, including a sound understanding of EWM architecture and supply chain processes.
n
- Experience with SAP supply chain solutions, ideally includingSAP IBPand/orSAP Ariba.
n
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technology outcomes.
n
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping capabilities.
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.
n
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
n
- Experience managing teams, vendors and/or outsourced technology partners.
n
- A strong commercial mindset, with an understanding of how technology can improve efficiency, reduce costs and deliver business value.
